We created Peariwinkle for this purpose! Buying play toys are difficult because you need to know what the toy is doing for your child and if it is actually helping them develop and grow. If you are out buying toys for your child here are things to keep in mind:
1.Quality of materials, make sure the material is safe for your child. Many toys contain toxic chemicals, that end up in your baby's mouth, so read and make sure you are buying something safe for your child to use.
2. Does the toy support a certain milestone that you want to help your child with? If not, the toy isn't doing much and your child will lose interest fast.
3. Avoid flashing lights, plastic, BRIGHT COLORS, and even Montessori-inspired toys that represent this, there are many.
